Proposal 2: Voyage of the HMAS Diamantina
Sail the Diamantina

Idea:
Using a green screen and props, reenact a scene of sailing the Diamantina. 30 sec scene is recorded and can be uploaded to an email or burnt on a mini DVD to take home.
Aims:
To make available a detailed look at the voyages of the HMAS Diamantina.
Purpose:
To create awareness about the life of the HMAS Diamantina in an interactive and fun way. Useful for groups and and team building exercises.
Process
-select a journey
-read the information
-set up the scene
-act out and record
-review
-upload and burn to dvd

Proposal 1: Shipwrecked

Shipwrecked
Idea:
Multiple choice, touch screen game. Player is given a series of clues to help find ships sunk off the coast of Queensland. As the player solves more of the puzzles his score increases.
Aims:
To expand and make the shipwreck exhibition more accessible to patrons visiting the QMM.
Purpose of game:
Creates awareness of ships sunk off Queensland, increases knowledge of historical voyages, creates access to shipwrecks without getting your feet wet.
